Education and Training
Regularly scheduled continuing education classes for license renewal are available on-site as well as online with discounted prices for PRAR Members. Designation courses, specialized training classes and free seminars are also offered throughout the year that focus on topics of interest for today's REALTOR®.
Membership Meetings
Great chance to network with fellow REALTORS® and affiliate members, and receive up-to-date information on what your association is doing.
New Member Orientation
This required course for all new members covers antitrust, fair housing, code of ethics; contracts, agency, and more. It is also open to any members who are interested in a refresher course.
Local Association Web site
A public and private side resource that features, helpful links, important documents, secure payment site and more.
Community Involvement
PRAR is committed to community involvement and a core part of who we are as an Association. PRAR works with Habitat for Humanity. Additional examples of other events we have done include food drives at its membership meetings for the local food pantry's, along with school supplies for local schools and a blanket drive for Levine's Children's Hospital. These events are decided by are members and the Community involvement Committee and change every year.
Networking
PRAR holds Broker Update meetings, Free Lunch-and-Learns, quarterly membership meetings, networking socials, our annual RPAC Fundraiser event.
Market Reports
Market Reports are available on a monthly basis via the PRAR website.
REALTOR® Store
Conveniently located in the PRAR office, members can purchase signs and other real estate related items at discounted prices.
Information and Communications
PRAR Newsletter is published as needed (minimum Monthly) and emailed to membership. It will be made available online at prar.com. The Newsletter will keep you informed of classes, events and up to date news from PRAR, SCR and NAR.
Administrative Support
Our professional staff is available for the Association Monday - Thursday 9AM to 4:30PM. A Conference Room and Training Room are available for member use with advance reservation and minimal costs.
Political Advocacy
PRAR actively participates in legislative advocacy. PRAR also will keep members informed on local issues. Through RPAC, members have a stronger voice on legislation that affects the real estate industry at the local, state and national levels. Members have an opportunity to contribute to RPAC and meet with legislators at RPAC sponsored functions such as Legislative breakfast, receptions, and the annual fundraiser event.
Multiple Listing Service
A separate service with all the necessary tools and training to better serve your clients and customers. The PRAR MLS is offered though Canopy MLS.
Representation
Your PRAR membership automatically extends to the South Carolina REALTORS® (SCR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). The combined power of these organizations provides a focal point for you to locate products, services, information and many other tools to aid your business. The National Association of REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate®, is the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.
REALTOR® Trademark
Those individuals who hold REALTOR® membership are entitled to use the REALTOR® logo in connection with their real estate business.
Professional Standards Training
PRAR offers Professional Standards training to educate members on the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, a strict behavioral code for members of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Code of Ethics Enforcement, Arbitration, Mediation and Ombudsman Service
Ethics and arbitration hearings are held locally before the Professional Standards hearing panel. On site mediation of commission disputes and ombudsman services is also available.

The State Association offers a legal hotline for members that answers legal questions regarding such issues as agency, disclosure and other legal matters REALTORS® face in today's real estate industry.

The State Association offers a Tech helpline for members that assists with tech help over the phone with all of your technology issues.
Welcome Piedmont Regional Association of REALTORS® Affiliate Member! Through this Association you will be able to generate new business, expand and keep abreast of the ever-changing real estate industry and work with over 500+ professional REALTORS®.
The purpose of an Affiliate membership is to encourage real estate owners and other individuals or firms who, while not actively engaged in the real estate profession, have interests requiring information concerning real estate, and are in sympathy with the objectives of the Association.
